Let’s work together to help you feel more connected, empowered, and free to live the life you want.
Hi, I’m Han (she/her)
I am deeply committed to helping you gently explore the most painful parts of your experiences and uncover the deeper longings of your heart. Together, we’ll cultivate greater self-compassion and acceptance, break unhelpful patterns, and navigate meaningful changes in your life.
My practice honors your wisdom, culture, and lived experiences, blending these with my knowledge of human behavior, relationships, and evidence-based interventions. This collaborative process ensures that your healing journey feels authentic and true to you.
In my work with individuals and couples, I integrate evidence-based models to address your unique needs, goals, and background. My specialized training includes: compassion-focused interventions, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Prolonged Exposure (PE).
A little about me
To help you determine if I might be the right fit, I’d like to share a bit about myself.
I identify as a Vietnamese American, cisgender, heterosexual, able-bodied woman. Born in Vietnam, I grew up in a low-income immigrant household in the Pacific Northwest. These experiences, alongside my professional training, enhance my understanding of how identities and environments influence well-being. I strive to view your experiences through a multicultural and holistic lens, seeing you as a whole and unique person.
I am passionate about serving marginalized communities and advocating for systemic change. Outside of my work, I enjoy cooking, reading, volunteering, and being in nature.
With over 10 years of clinical experience, I have had the privilege of working with individuals from diverse backgrounds in a variety of settings, including:
Veterans Affairs Medical Centers
Psychological Services Center at the University of Memphis
Community Mental Health Clinics
Group Practice Settings
I completed a predoctoral internship at the VA Puget Sound Health Care System and a postdoctoral fellowship at Portland Psychotherapy Clinic, Research, and Training Center. These experiences refined my expertise in evidence-based therapies for complex trauma, PTSD, self-criticism, shame, anxiety, and depression.
